The annual Skeeter IBC swap meet will be Sunday, November 4th, 2007 at Sailing Specialists, Inc., 210 N. Walworth Ave., Williams Bay, WI from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., CST. There is no charge for participation.
Williams Bay is in southeast Wisconsin, on Geneva Lake, 85 miles northwest of downtown Chicago. Find your way to the WI Hwy 50/WI Hwy 67 intersection located at the 4-way stop just one mile north of Williams Bay. Drive south on Hwy 67, down the hill into Williams Bay. Turn west onto Stark St., then immediately turn south onto Walworth Ave. Sailing Specialists is south of the Bay Laundromat.
This year the event will have a slightiy different format. Refreshments will be available at Lucki's Cantino, across the street from Sailing Specialists. This will allow more boat parking space to be available at Sailing Specialists. Boats should NOT be set up at Lucki's. Sailors should plan to park in the street or at the municipal parking lot at the corner of Walworth Ave. and Stark St.
Be sure to register at Sailing Specialists to receive a raffle ticket.
New and used DNs, Nites and Ice Optimists will be available and some used Skeeters and Renegades, maybe even a stern steerer. There will also be used sails; DN 1/4" insert runners; new and used Stamasters; new hardware and runners; Harken and Ronstan/Fredericksen blocks; WEST epoxy; rigging; tapered mainsheets; runner polishing stones.
Note, this is Packer country, but Viking, Bear, and Lions fans are welcome too.
No matter what the weather, Williams Bay is the place to be on November 4th.
Looking forward to seeing you all that day.
